Propranolol helps me a lot with my anxiety. But before that, I would actually (I know, bad habit) bite the inside of my lip or I would smack a rubber band off of my hand. Not the best coping methods, and I don't suggest it, but if your anxiety is bad, check out propranolol. It's like a multi-purpose medication too. I like it ^^

Anxiety hm.. ? For me, i like to conquer my fears, i have lost quite a lot of fear by facing it.. but.. i .... i dont have the balls to do something i want to.. or maybe i shouldn't do it.. hmpf, i really wonder what holds me back..

This is bad I guess but alcohol completely depletes my social anxiety but I try not drink too much when I'm in a normal situation though wearing headphones while listening to music usually calms me down in large social events

Most of my anxiety comes from people. People scare the hell out of me. But being the human that I am I crave social interactions.
Companionship, yadda yadda.
I think a good way to work through anxiety is to face what it is that makes you feel that way. Face it however you want, either by taking it slow or jumping in, as long as you work at it, you're bound to find yourself a little less scared.
It takes a lot out of me to talk to people on here, I have to take breaks from conversation because I basically get socially overheated, which leads to panic attacks. But I want to make friends and just not be worried so much over little things people do.

Take back control. I red signs, labels etc., focused on scents I could smell... Anything that shows me I'm in control of my body and surrounding. Another thing would be controlling your breath. Breathe in slowly, hold your breath for 8 seconds and breathe out. Though I pretty much defied my anxiety at this point an haven't dealt with it in a while. But that speaks for my techniques doesn't it.
