I really really do not like malicious people. I'm a recovering addict and since informing work, I've noticed 2 coworkers treating me different, often talking behind my back and griping about how I shouldn't be working here. I heard today from their own mouths that they are planning to try and get me fired. As soon as I heard this, I told HR what they had said they were planning to do. It's aggravating that these two cradle Catholics (who should know better) are willing to commit the sin of bearing false witness and calumny against me due to their prejudices. These are Mortal Sins they will have to answer for and they have already often been uncharitable (Venial Sin) and committed to gossiping which is a Mortal Sin against the Holy Spirit as they are walling off their hearts to him and rejecting God's Graces that have been given to them through the Holy Spirit. I will be praying for the both of them that our Lord is merciful on them, but I ask everyone who prays to pray for me. I am being unjustly persecuted for being an addict in recovery by my coworkers and I'm at the whim of my employers judgement at the end of the day. I've been sober for 27 days from Marijuana, and I haven't smoked at work in over 9 weeks, and I plan to keep it that way and maintain my sobriety.
