Well and if they stop today, turn in their verdict, each juror would only be paid like $900.00 for 6 weeks of work. Fucking robbery.

Yeah that's the jury rate in Virginia. $30 per day.

Just checked. That's not even the lowest. Some states pay only $5 per day and $50 is the highest.

Some employers allow so many hours or days of jury pay. If jury duty will cause you financial hardship and you can show the judge your employer isn't going to pay you while you do jury duty, they will typically excuse you from participating.
