DBZ is a good example. The Dub voice actors were legendary. Not saying the Japanese VAs didn't do a good job, it's just that the english dub VAs gave the characters that extra "manliness" fit for the show. Goku having the same Japanese voice actress in DBZ as he did in DB was just so weird, my dude was a grown ass man that still sounded like a kid lol.
