Anonymity makes it much easier for people to engage in conversations. Though maybe it's more of a case of meeting similar minded people online who are much easier to talk to than the people you meet irl instead of the method of communication being the reason. I prefer face to face since you can read people's facial expressions, vocal cues, body language and other mannerisms. Text/online chatting is neat since you can pace conversations at your own leisure but it's missing a lot of ways to express yourself and read people.

People comes and go, some are meant to stay until your death, others, only to be dropped off along the way. My only concern is, why were you so fixated on the past and on seeing the negativity in others? Can't you realize that you're not the perfect being you convinced yourself to be, and, instead, you're probably the most miserable individual amongst us all? It baffles me, that you have a staunch belief on yourself to the point where it almost seems you truthfully wish your words were prerogatives upon the rest.
