Do you play as yourself? c:

I guess it just depends on the game and what it has to offer. Now let's say there's romance stuff in the game, usually it's male-female relationships so nine times out of ten when that happens, I choose to make a male. I'm a sucker for romance at times but I don't self insert but try to make a character that seems cool to work with. Other than that I typically go with making female characters. Because if I'm going to be looking at this character for hours, usually from behind, I'd rather enjoy the view if I can. Plus a female kicking ass? Always a good thing. Typically short haired and a bit tanned skin, not too tall and looks cute.

I usually play female characters. I don't know why but I just do for some reason on all games I play if the option is there :P Sorry for being online gaming trap ;)

I almost always make a female character and slap some of my broader features on it, like my hair and eye color and the stupid little mole thing under my eye. I basically just design it to what I would like to look like if I were a woman, if possible. For males, I usually think of a quality that I really like (virtuous, proud, etc) and try to give it an appearance.

Only in some games do i create myself. Id rather play as a female if im playing a game unless the armor looks cool as a dude tbh. I did in the division though so definitely sometimes.

I don't like making male characters in videogames. I'm not talented or patient enough on the character creation screen to create myself, and a lot of games have male body types I don't feel like represent myself. So... I usually stick with making badass female warriors because there's not nearly enough of them.
