Hi! I'm Michael (or マイケル if you prefer). I started watching anime about 6 months ago, and I question why I didn't start earlier! Apparently the amount of anime one has watched isn't the deciding factor of an otaku, it's whether or not they love it enough and want to see more, which I definitely do! I also intend to start reading manga sometime soon, and I really want to find a good convention for me to cosplay at! As you can probably tell, I'm open to recommendations! My favourite genre is comedy by far, while action, adventure and sci-fi are notable sub-favourites! Also always loved video games growing up, and Megaman and Pokémon are easily my favourites at the moment! Hopefully I'll be welcomed here! I'd love to make some otaku friends!

Ahem...Actually the deciding factor of being an otaku is how much you forsake your contribution to society for your "Hobby"...Uhm truth be told its not a nice term over in japan...Also welcome!

I'll definitely be getting Mighty No. 9! There's no way I'd pass on that. I've known about anime for awhile. I guess I just never knew what I was missing out on. So happy to have finally started!

I've been a backer since it was on Kickstarter. So many delays though... I still think it will be worth it after playing the demo.
