What boredom did to me...

So lately I've been getting into gardening and had the thought of raising livestock you know chickens, pigs, etc but I had no experience in this, just YouTube videos. So I found a guy who had some live quails for meat on sale off Craigslist (2.50each got 4) and for the first time killed/butchered my own food. Had to deal with feathers, blood everywhere, and i found out I'm pretty tough...minus the "I'm sorry--IM SO SORRY!" Everytime I had to take off their lil head#cringeworthy. l Definitely not for the animal lovers out there. In the end, I couldn't eat a single quail bc I kept picturing them in their coop stepping on their poop or happily "dusting" themselves in dirt. So I gave it to my sisters to eat she said it smelled like ketchup but taste like fatty steak. My niece who saw me doing this was horrified, and took one quail with her, so I let her keep it as a pet.

LOL xD Honestly why I'm vegetarian! I would be vegan if I wasn't so obsessed with dairy products >o>
