I need help with trying to get to a con

So here's my problem, I wanna go to AFO 13 and I have been extremely good at my house. I have been cleaning everyday since summer started, I haven't talked back to my parents, I do things without my parents asking, I cook dinner (sometimes), taking care of my dogs, and basically being the best daughter lately. So before I went over to see my real dad's house, I forgot to do 2 things... 2 THINGS!!!! and my mom said I couldn't go. She hasn't asked me 100 times like she says she does to go do things and I've been really good. But somehow magically today I missed off my mom and stepdad somehow (idk how =.=) and My mom said i can't go but to ask my stepdad to go to AFO. He doesn't like spending money on me going to Cons and I have been to one since MegaCon in Feb. What do I do? :( I'm scared to ask because it's a 95% chance of it being a No or a Hell no. What do i do? Y.Y

If you can't get to a con anytime soon, try going to a cosplay gathering/picnic. I think some of the west coast users are organizing some very soon. I'm attending one and possibly organizing another on the east coast. It's a great (and hella cheaper) alternative to cons!!!! Also, check on Facebook Events to see if any local cosplay gatherings are happening in your area and join the page if it's open invite. If it isn't, ask a friend for an invite if they're going/invited.

well it also sucks because my parents arent letting me go places but they complain that im always in my room and never out being social!

Yeah, except in my case they're always on me about getting a better job. Like one time, they encouraged me to look outside the state. I did, then all of a sudden, they say shit like "Oh, but you shouldn't look out of state now because you would have to find an affordable place to live too." It's one contradiction after another, so you're not alone...

Patience when you are your own person you can go where ever. Although I know how it sucks to miss out on stuff. I was a poor kid and missed on many cons because i didn't even know they existed. Maybe try to explain your point. Tell them if there is something you can do in exchange for the trip. Or try to find a group that's going so the cost isn't so much of an issue. All of those could help.

my friends and i are going and i would sleep at my friend's house (same distance but i like sleeping at her house XD ) and I'm gonna try to ask my stepdad today like my mom told me too and my friend will be with me when i do (support). I have tried everything i can to convince my mom but somehow she magically loves finding a reason for me no to go. I'm trying my hardest to go and my friend is here to help convince my parents (she doesnt like when i dont go XD )
