So My apartment got bed bugs...

Today my Landlord told me that two doors down got Bedbugs and in an attempt to eradicate them; they'll be heating the entire apartment and i'll probably go crash at my parents for the next 48 hours; starting tomorrow morning. Anyway does anyone know what i can do to ensure my shit doesn't melt or get destroyed because of the heat?
