I am in the Navy and will be at sea for long periods of time. No land means no cell reception means no data.
What games for my cell would you all recommend that doesn't need internet connection? Please don't mention candy crush, angry birds or jet pack joyride.

I had some but, they took up too much room.

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy an actual portable game console?

I have a 3DS with a lot of games, most are beaten. I also have played cytus and implosion and enjoyed them. I just suck at rhythm games, lol.

so get a psp? You can easily pick up a used for like $20 to $30.
Those things can emulate just about any system from the fourth Generation back as well as some fifth gen stuff. With an adapter they can use microSD cards which can be bought at large capacities cheaply, there are also dirt cheap adapters that can take two sd cards at once and combine them into one, with this you can go past 100gb of storage if you wish. The average game only takes up around 500mb with just a handful going over 1gb so you should be able to take months worth of games with you on the thing. They make pretty decent media players so you can toss tons of music and videos on them too.

Yeah have fun getting a psp with custom firmware.
Its not a matter of just getting a psp. The firmware of said psp must be a specific version of firmware. If updated beyond that point, you're fked because down dating is impossible.
And you think the psp can handle all that capacity? You'd brick the damn thing because it wouldn't have the ram to process that. Plus you'd end up with 2 corrupted high capacity mini sd cards using those adaptors.

Simpleplanes and simplerockets. You need a beast of a phone but you can waste days building/testing stuff.
