Incest appears to be more common with twins than with simblings of different ages. Apart from the obvious reasons with genes I don't get why it's seen as bad. Normally you love your siblings, you feel a close connection with them and you're probably going to spend the rest of your lifes together in one way or another. If you could give them a loving relationship and adopt cute little babies, why not? I think there are people that have had sexual relationships or relationships in general that are far more disfunctional. That being said, I am completely grossed out by the tought of sleeping with my sister >_<

Let's pose an interesting question here... Is the revulsion towards incest instinctive or nurtured?

It's nurtured. It has to do with the fact that you grew up with them. Your childhood is a time of innocence, so people you met during your childhood typically become non-sexual entities. It's also a known phenomenon that siblings seperated at birth fancy each other when meeting later in life. This phenomenon also happens with children who were seperated from their parents sometimes. It's assumed that this is because we search for people similar to ourselves. Apparently, humans are narcistic as hell xD
