Why did start watching anime?

I started at a very young age watching sailor moon, at the time I didnt know it was anime just thought it was a really well made cartoon later on did I find it was anime. use to watch it before school every morning lol

No special reason :P In the first year of Comprehensive School, my friend recommended a few series to me so I took a look and got hooked :3

I watched DBZ when I was little along with toonami back when I used to watch tv but I don't really have a reason to why I started watching anime tho it just happened.

@Shadow, same for me. When I was little I only watched shows on 3 channels, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and Nickelodeon. I didn't really watch anything on other channels since I figured it was for adults. At night was the time Nickelodeon featured old shows, which I didn't like back then so I just flipped between Disney and Cartoon Network. When Toonami first came out I was pretty amazed by the Toonami guy who introduced the show, so I decided to continue watching, saw Dragonball then Naruto and Zatchbell. The rest was then history. Especially when Toonami ended. I wanted to know what happened in Naruto and Zatchbell so I found out about manga, read and finished Zatchbell, then went on to read other manga and watch other anime.
