What is worse, too excited or too jaded?

Jaded. I'm relatively jaded myself and it sucks. I find it hard to be excited by anything. But there is a bright side to us sinacle bastards: when we get excited about something, we commit ourselves to said thing, be it a person, a place, or an activity, you'll never find someone who is more into something than a jaded person.

Life is awesome, fun, and most importantly, what you make it. Jaded people are often selfish under a veneer of selflessness. So many people will go by and look at life as a struggle instead of seeing the opportunity in their faces to make a choice about how to view their lives. I've been depressed and caught up in financial struggle, heart break, self induced calamity and etc, but it really is defining of a person when even with all of the shit, they look forward to the day and want to include you in their happiness. I'd rather be alone than surrounded by energy less husks.
