Clingy people, turn on/off?

Depends on how clingy. If it is every so often I do not mind but if it is like every moment of everyday yeah that I do find unattractive

I'm starting to think a clingy partner would actually work pretty well with me, assuming of course there's something I really like about this person.

Personally I have experience both ends of the spectrum. I actually find clingy women more attractive. Without the clingyness girlfriends feel not interested in me thus I feel the relationship is one sided. I have had a way overly clingy girlfriend it was nice although I was being smothered. I was being smothered with love so it was fine. I ended the relationship for her sake as I was taking all of her time and her work and school started to suffer.

I get emotionally attached to people quickly, so a clingy girl would be right up my ally (I think). I don't think I'd mind taking my girlfriend everywhere. ... Then again, I have no experience in the matter, so I may be praying for cancer here...
