I would like to know how to make my cosplays well enough to not hafta rely on my friends or anybody else. It's a burden on my friends and more money out of pocket for anything else.

Kyo was the cat. And yeah, I kinda opted for the "Throw money at it" option for cosplays. Which is why I focus on OCs since it allows me to build up the outfit over the years rather than all at once. Get the base design with like two outfit components, then add boots one year, a cloak the next, ect.

It's more like I have an idea of a direction I wanna take an outfit. For example, the base of my Tobias outfit actually started like this.
