The trials and tribulations of a disabled otaku

shin_nel_92
Relationships are kind of a complex thing with me as you may be aware…Disabilities are not fun. Luckily I only have one them cerebral palsy (spastic quadriplegia) basically I have spasms and my muscles is to work the way I want them to. I had to rely on technology to help me out… E.g. using speech recognition on the computer dating from me has been somewhat hard I had this one girlfriend back in high School (who wasn't interested in the anime but she tried) and so I decided out of the goodness of my heart to burn her a DVD with the complete 26 episodes of lucky star subtitled only (as it was back in the day) she was grateful she takes it home then to my surprise the next day she says that her brother took it (I do not buy that for a second by the way). She should have just said that it was a sweet gesture, but she is just not into anime and I have tried some relationships online but they are Always just say and always end in destruction(I am not going into the details…) But I always believe in my heart that my girlfriend will be otaku and I am working towards that dream!
