what should i do

so its a really long story but ill try to shorten it. so basically im in love with my best friends ex. ive been in love with this girl ever since i saw her walking down the hall way in highschool 6 years ago. so the quick version of the story..... we slept together even though she's still in love with my best friend, we decide to start dating, i attempt to tell my best friend but he found out we were sleeping together before i could, he stops talking to both of us. a week later they both start texting each other, she hangs out with him and gets cold feet, she starts pushing me away, i break up with her and ignore her for a week, she messages me saying that she misses me and that her ex was dating this other chick, i feel sorry for her so i start hanging out with her, we go to a pool party and we get drunk, we go back to my place with 5 other friends, i didnt think anything would happen and that she was going home later, i call it a night and fall asleep in my room, i wake up with her next to me and we end up sleeping together. now the problem im having is... i know she is still in love with him and i just cant be in a relationship with her, but im still in love with her. i still havent talked to her about what happened at the pool party but i plan on it. i want to be in a relationship with her but i know it wont work out and that the same thing would probably end up happening. what should i do?

I've seen this before.. your her fallback.. whenever this guy rejects her, so what happens is when she feels she needs affection.. she comes to you as "the one that will always be there when 'he' isn't", of course i may not be right its only my opinion..

I'm going to be very rude, crude, and blunt....make better decisions. It's easy to be used b someone when sleeping with them There's a reason guys say bros before hoes (I don't say it...but these situations pretty much show why people say that) And some advice, speak to your friend about the problem, it's kinda of embarrassing to do, and in these situations extremely awkward, but you can't not.

Yeah, she's def using you. It's not fun, believe me (I and mahy others on here have been there). You're better off without her. You shouldn't keep someone like her who is no good for you around.
