Because I didn't want to fill that title and I decided to keep it short I had been mulling this over in my brain for a couple of years does elfen lied truly have a prequel/sequel the only thing that I could connect the dots to was brynhildr anime though that could be considered non-cannon maybe I'm just overthinking things!

I love Elfen lied and even if i loved how it ended on anime, i still would love a remake with madhouse + following the manga, just to fans watch it again and apreciate this masterpiece. Elfen Lied is 1/100 animes.

Brynhildr have some common things yet i dont think i would compare with Elfen Lied.

If you read the manga you would know that it needs a sequel I kind find it funny how he liked his own comment kind of a try hard thing to do

Elfen Lied was a decent anime, but its ending was definitive - there won't a sequel to it. Perhaps a remake, but that would likely be with a different studio. To be fair, its far from that studio's best work. The manga was better. Much much better.

Well we cannot all like super cute magical girls I for one love as you so delightfully put it mindless gore porn because as I stated we cannot like the same things. It is human nature my dear boy who am I to judge I think the book of friends is a absolutely awful anime… Yet I love lucky star! I can easily go from elfen lied to lucky star in 3.8 seconds I will have you know I have seen things far worse than elfen lied that would make your definition Far more true "genocyber" but you wouldn't know What that is it would hurt you to see it
