so lets talk about catfish

hey i dont post my pic up for 2 reasons...1 because it can be used for catfish accounts and 2 i already had people harassing me about my picture and how cute it was and telling me all kinds of weird things (this was a guy) kinda creeped me out. so i use anime pics and i dont see anything wrong with it im not cropping a person's face onto my body and saying im that person

I once got really connected with a girl online, but as we started talking more I started to realise something was off. We had all kind of things in common to the point that it started getting creepy. Eventually she told me she wanted to be with me and she always had issues trusting people, but with me she felt safe. She just wanted to meet me and cuddle me. When I didn't react for a little while, she got upset and told me I was a catfish and I shouldn't play with peoples feelings especially when they are in love. The thing is, this all happened in less than 24 hours. Later I found out that the pictures she had sent me weren't even hers, but from some random girl on Facebook and all the things we had in common were things from my Facebook page. She must have gone through a lot of effort to find me on there so quickly because I'm often carefull with what I give away about myself.
