I understand. I'm also still friends with one of my exes after we peacefully broke up (which sounds like an oxymoron), but I think it would be hard to still live with her. Then again, she only lived with me for one week during the holidays. I agree: a relationship is more satisfactory when she actually wants your penis ^^

I try to remain friends with exes when I can. Some want to and others don't, depends on the situation. Many just get new boyfriends and we stop talking. I haven't had a girlfriend in about 5yrs now. If I go much longer I might qualify as a born again virgin, lol.

I also try to stay friends with my exes and in most cases I had succes. My last ex was different, though. She kept saying she wanted me back, but the reason I dumped her was because she wasn't willing to commit. A few weeks ago she told me she was ready for a serious relationship (after a year of being friends). I believed her, but decided to keep it slow. After almost a week of casually meeting and watching movies together she just had to have me and if I hadn't stopped her we'd have had sex again. The next day I told her I got the feeling we were falling into bad patterns again and it might me better if we stay friends before anything bad happened. She started boasting about all the guys that were waiting to fuck with her (she's Dutch, but she litterally said 'fuck'). She told me how she never was that attracted to me and was always affraid to hurt my feelings. Basically, I have one rule: no matter what, if you're my friend, you can be honest with me. She broke that rule and for the first time in about two years I got really angry. She was one of my best friends. Two days later I found MO ^^

Five years is rough, but to me you seem like a cool guy and some girl is bound to notice that some day. I hope you find her ^-^ Furthermore, if you're a born again virgin at your age, doesn't that make you close to a wizard? :P
