Hallo! Call me Chrissy~ I consider myself a novice writer. I've been writing for nearly 5 years now, only has a hobby though..but due to recent events I've lost motivation and interest and I haven't been writing for a while. I want to re spark my passion again! ^^ when I did write it was mostly Adventure, Comedy, Drama and maybe some Thriller from time to time - I have two friends striving to be animators and illustrators so I tend to come up with storylines and plots for them to base their creations on. I'm happy to hear some suggestions or tips and maybe share a few to those interested. :3

Hello there. Mm. I've been writing for maybe around four years. I like writing short stories, but I'll also throw in the occasional long term one. I think my current project is around 60k word count right now,and I'm also writing short stories on the side. I like writing up requests for people, and I have a very flexible range. My favorite genre to write is probably comedic romantic horror, if that makes any sense whatsoever. Anyway, I consider myself to be a pretty good writer and I'm always willing to lend advice.

Has anyone ever attempted to write a story in collaboration with someone? If so, how did that work out? If not, how do you think that would work?

I have. It entirely depends on the person. I ended up doing this one thing with my friend where we ended up almost tag teaming it. I tried with someone else too, but they weren't very good and were kind of awkward, so we ended up abandoning it.

Cool. My best friend and I are trying to figure out a way to bring together my story and her writing know-how. I'm not adept at long writings, but I think she wants me to at least try. Any tips?

I think it would be good to first go over what you want to accomplish with her first. It doesn't have to be a super detailed outline, just a quick overview of what you both want to accomplish. It's also good to do it in a way where you both have input as it happens so it's a true co-op instead of being more like an RP. I think it's a good opportunity to play off of your respective strengths. I hope this helps!

Hello, I'm Meadowfox! I've been writing stories ever since I was as little, so I would say about 12+ years. I enjoy writing fantasy genre but I'm very familiar with action, adventure, thriller, drama, romance, horror and slice of life.

Hello, my name is Zeke, and I generally write thoughtful takes on the slice of life genre (action is waaay too difficult to write, so I try not to delve into it too much until I can perfect my craft). I have been writing for four years now but have yet to have anything printed, and as of recently took a very long hiatus on writing to focus on my main pleasure in life: procrastination.
That aside, what (or when exactly) do we write? While a forum for writing is good I am wondering if we will ever actually have the chance to give or critique our work. :D

Good point, Zeke. I did say that this is a place for critiques. I'll try to get the ball rolling with a bit of prose I did a little while ago.
Umi-chan the Green-Haired Girl
Her shoulder length, green hair seemed to flow perfectly in the wind. It was like the air was in consorts with her will. Every strand moved in a pleasing direction, dancing in the breeze; not unconditionally, but giving in to the stream just enough. Like a master artist’s brush, their affair had just the right amount of pull, a flawless stroke. The soft flutter of a butterfly’s wings is second only to these ripples of emerald. I am envious of this phenomenon, but I can’t help but take it in as I stand with my frizzy shag fluff.

Anyone here feel like critiquing? I'd really like some feedback on my latest story, "What We Used to Be." Thanks.
