I only played the 2nd one and thought it was closer to the original "feel" to the originals which gave me some hope. Different strokes different folks I guess.

Yes I have played both. Dino Crisis is one of the only survival horror games I have trouble getting through cuz it legit freaks me out (Raptors are tough as shit)

Raptors dont bother its the matching computer puzzles i hate in the first game ots my all time favourite horror surrvial game
