Why do some women obsess over height so much?

I think short guys are cute and have their own charms just like short females, a friend of mine who is around 180cm (5'9) tall dated a way shorter guy despite the height difference, she used to tell me that she felt slighty embarassed about it in public places so i guess i understand why, im very short and she never felt embarassed around me, its the whole gender thing, unfortunatley guys are usually expected to be taller by society.

@maria, haha, I feel understood. It was a slightly disturbing experience. @lugexd Usually not. That's why I was kind of confused when they asked (energy drinks are 14+). The expression of the cashier after figuring out I'm 19 though... Hilarious. I usually only get asked for ID when buying wine or other alcoholic beverages. Which is more understandable.

O.o its just weird to me, cause energy drinks can be bought by anyone here in the US, I'm pretty sure anyways... though alcohol is 21+. Though I only get carded at bars/pubs. the first time that happened where I live they almost denied me cause they thought my ID was fake because they had never seen an ID from what I was from.

In Germany wines (including champagne) and beers are 16+ and everything else 18+. It always depends on the country.

I'm 5'6" and I love it, it could just be me comfortable with my body. Contrary to common belief short people are natural climbers, how else can we reach the cookie jar?

Arc said you looked tall but from the pics on your profile I would have guessed you were in the 5'7" to 5'10" range. Wow.
