Android over IOS or vice versa and why

richaadokun
Hmm, well in regards to RAM with android, it's always high because like some other operating systems, they are designed to not waste RAM so that things used a lot load faster. If it needs room it just takes something else out. So if there were any issues regarding it, the phone may have just not had enough for whatever it is you were trying to do with it. Something I actually learned recently is that the Facebook app has had issues with android, once I removed it not only did my battery improve, but the phone got a bit faster. A poorly designed app can really make a difference, unfortunate but Facebook should be better. (°ㅂ° ╬) I'm sure there are many pros and cons to both though for sure, all about preference really. C:

Wow, that s quite an impressive collection of devices you ve got youself xD !!

By the way I agree with you Richaadokun. A poorly optimized up can really make your phone lag or get really sluggish. Facebook messenger was one such app for me, battery drainage was really high too.

If you jailbreak your iPhone you can tweak it almost as much as an Android (though Android still is superior in that sense). Be it with Cydia, Xcode or other programs. Though I'd still not jailbreak my phone.. I already spend too much time on it as it is.

Yeah, but from what I ve read it s a bit more complicated to jailbreak an iphone than it is to flash a custom android rom. Least that what I ve read on a few sites online, coulb be wrong though.

Jailbreaking is very simple. Rooting isn't. Though you don't have to root your android to customize apps. As I said, out of the box the android is far more customizable than the iPhone.
georges92
Yeah it sure is. Didnt know that jailbreaking was easier than rooting though. I must say I m a little surprised.

The thing is that with android rooting works differently for different devices. Jailbreaking doesn't. It depends on the person but generally speaking I'd say anybody could jailbreak an iPhone.
