Best/worst anime-based video games

A few decades ago, there were usually some laserdisc games with gameplay similar to Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair games and Space Ace, but instead used anime style. Short while after the Nintendo Famicom hit stores with big success, Namco and Bandai teamed up to develop and release the Macross game for the same platform. And since then, more anime-based video games came out and sold millions, like Hudson Soft's Doraemon. In between the late 80s and early 2000s, some developers like Bandai and Banpresto released more different anime-based titles in different genres that were popular back then, like shoot 'em ups and fighting games. Nowadays, I guess usually anime-based games are trusted a bit more than the ones based on American and PAL-region cartoons.
