Ethnicity

This is something that I just thought I'd ask so I'll know if I'm just wasting my time finding a connection with someone on here. How many of you can say that you are attracted to any kind of skin color. I'm not trying to single anybody out by any means. I just want to see if there is hope for me on this site.

Well, I know this is commonly said by most guys but I'm more for personality. The only time appearance bothers me is how they dress. Other than that, I'm pretty open.

Hope? The only way to find out is to take a chance. There are those who will hate just for how you sound and those who will love you because you gave them the time. Also, as far as I knew, everyone is some sort of color...or..Were you trying to imply something? As for me, I find women of all ethnicities to be beautiful, it's certain attitudes and personalities that I detest. I'm not single, so I suppose I don't count.

If I'm being completely honest, I love men of different ethnicities. There is nothing wrong with being different. Embrace it and have more confidence!

Honestly I'd like to date a girl that is a different ethnicity then my own. Be it asian, black, native, hispanic, etc. I've only dated white girls in the past mainly for the fact they're the majority around where I live. I've been interested in a few different girls in the past of different race, but they usually were already taken or weren't interested in dating me or anyone in general i.e. too busy with school/etc. Not saying I wouldn't date the right white girl if she came along though either. To me, all races of women can be beautiful. We're all the same darn species at the end is the day! XD

I think studying cultural anthropology and sociology desensitized me to race (Or rather, I have an appreciation and interest in nearly all ethnical groups). Humans in general are pretty interesting. And if you're an otaku, you already have a large common ground to approach people with. So even if race is a handicap for someone, there's still ways around it to allow people to see you for you rather than you for your race. As cheesy as it sounds, truely the best way to absolve ignorance is positive exposure. But I don't really think its too much of a problem here, and it certainly isn't at most of the conventions I attend.

These days, I'd say a lot more people are willing to date those outside of their own race or skin color. Although, there are people who prefer one race over any other. It doesn't mean that they're racists or anything, it's just a matter of personal taste.

Like what everyone else said, race doesn't really matter to me. But if there was such a way that I could build the woman I want, then I would pick the race that I would truly want. Probably mix a few together. But that's just me. >.>
