What do you think happens when you die?

I know this is a very serious question so please give serious answers. What do you think happens when you die? Do you believe you go to heaven or just an empty abyss? I believe that when you die, everything that Will ever happen in the universe happens all at once. You just skip ahead to the end of the universe. I can't really imagine what happens after that moment. But i also believe that there is a heaven. So what do you think?

It'd be nice to think there is some form of afterlife, but I honestly don't think there is anything. Once your life is over, everything about you goes with it. Poof, out of existence. It's probably a lot like before you were born. All of your knowledge of events that happened in the past of before you were born are from what you learn from people who were alive during those times. And even if hypothetically there is a form of afterlife, there is no guarantee anything from your current memory and consciousness will carry over to it.

I think there's more to it than just death. That something happens afterwards. I haven't the foggiest what. It could be heaven. It could reincarnation. It could be ascension into another dimension and plane of existence. But in my gut I feel that it doesn't just end.

I think outside of my personal beliefs, on a slightly objective view, that we are in some sense ceasing to exist here but our "soul" or mind which cannot be read by computers yet, is bound to pass into some sort of existence into another parallel reality. Something like where EVP's are. We turn into another dimensional being. I don't buy the whole: "we just die and that's it." because that doesn't explain a loot of phenomenons in this Earth. But, aside from this , is my personal believe as a Christian which I'm pretty sure you're not interested in because is obvious what I actually believe in.

Well. Personally I feel like there's something after this life. Though when it comes down to it, I feel it's something we can't truly understand or comprehend until we've arrived ourselves. I see different depictions of the afterlife as attempts to describe to indescribable.
