So this ff7 remake

Ehhh whatever s.e does they are going to upset someone. I want to trust them not to screw it up, but considering it's modern s.e I'm sceptical. Though am excited at the concept and still have hope it could turn out well, if not meh I still have the original to love! Nothing to lose.

I just saw the game play trailer, to me it seems to feel like crisis core! I loved that rendition of the ff7 feel. I'm super excited, since the release of the ps2, the rendering demo that they did with cloud from advent children, square has been sitting on this for than a decade. I will be stunned if this game is bad,In my opinion square is the only company from my youth that is still putting out quality games... Oh, did I fail to mention manga and anime!

didn't 7 have like 3 disk or whatever perhaps the game was so huge they had to split it up idk personally i don't mind it buts its gamble since 7 a occult hit..

Tricksters Of Shadow - The only reason FF7 was on 3 disks was due hardware limitations, and like 50% of its size was just the cutscenes. =P

Little add on to my earlier comment, they ruined it already. Stupid square and their bull. It's episodic now like life is strange. NOPE Episodic most likely means linear and cutscene heavy like 13, also probably means no overworld (the bit they complained in an interview a few years back would be the most expensive bit of 7 to remake by modern standards) so they found a way around it. Good for them. They should really take a look at xenoblade chronicles x to see how to make a huge jrpg open world. If monolitsoft can do it I don't see why she can't besides laziness and lack of passion.

I think it would be awesome if they made the battle mechanics like a cross between star ocean till the end of time, and kindom hearts. If they are going for a new playstyle that is, if not then i think sticking with the original playstyle would be best. All i know is if they change the battlesystem it has to be something that is innovative. Otherwise, it is going to piss a lot of people off.

I'm really hyped about it and I just started playing FF7. It has now become one of my favorite games of all time I can't wait for this remake. Plus the gameplay looks kind of like kingdom hearts which gets me super excited.
