Tales of Zestiria

So I started playing the PC version of Tales of Zestiria. What do you guys think of it? Personally I find it to be a pretty fun game, although I must admit that the controls are rather awful, the camera speed is WAY too fast, and the forced 30FPS are a pain in the ass (and yes, I know about TZfix but it crashes my game). Oh, and the intro is catchy as fuck.

Love the game but something about the controls bugged me. Didnt feel like pling at first but thats because I watched the episode before the game and the first half of the game waa the episode XD so I had to sit through it all bored and stuff. But those azzes cutt the lyrics from the op :( I loved that op. The guitar solo is super too but its not the same :( I havent had time to play it I think I got as far as past the fire temple trial.

Oh, you can get around the lack of vocals by renaming the intro files. :P Just add _JPN to the English one and remove it from the Japanese one, and voila: intro with vocals AND English voices! As for the controls: it's both the layout (press and hold caps-lock for free movement? What kind of retarded idea was that?) and the combat movement. Luckily you get the battle action for permanent free movement a little into the game though.

To bad they got rid of the opening that song was catchy as hell... i love tales games been that way since symphony came out on GameCube....

Right, here's how to fix the intro. :P Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Tales of Zestiria\RAW\MOVIE (or wherever you installed it) Look for the files AM_TOZ_OP_001_JPN.bk2 and AM_TOZ_OP_001.bk2 - These are the intros. Rename 001_JPN to 001_JPN2 (temporarily to prevent name conflicts), then rename 001 to 001_JPN. Finally rename 001_JPN2 to 001 and voila; you now get the Japanese intro when playing with English voices.

I was to tempted by the STEAM version since it will net you Tales of Destiny for FREE come 2016 ... but I ended up with the PS4 verison . . . since my gaming living room PC is middle of the road @ best rocking that Intel i3 Dual core : /

Loved it, cute game :) kinda short though for a tales game, felt like there was a point where they went 'fluff it let's focus on tales of berseria instead' Still it ended before it got tedious which wasn't so terrible. Worried about the opposite problem with xenoblade chronicles x tomorrow *sighs*
