How do I make people like me?

You don't MAKE anyone do anything. It's not something you really want to do anyway, even if you could. It's better to have a few close, quality friends than to be popular with plenty of acquaintances. When it comes down to it, you don't want to be friends with people that you have to wear a mask around. And despite what others say, "faking it until you make it" is extremely detrimental in the long run. Some can spend so much time faking it, that they lose who they really are inside this character they made to make friends. TL;DR - Don't worry about being liked by everyone. You WILL find friends and lovers who like you for who you are.

Pretty easy to say "be yourself", only shows you have an easy time being popular at least with some people. Which is definitely not the case for everyone.

You make people like you with a baseball bat. You earn true friendships that stems off of care and security, or something like that. Someone will like you for what you truly are on the inside, or glimpses of it rather. Some people like others just for the ass, the man-bun, the blue eyes, stubble, etc, but that's another story. ~T

That doesn't make sense. If you change yourself to make people like you they won't like you but the imagery you created. It's impossible to "make" people like "you". They either do or don't.
