MaiOtaku Appearance vs Reality

How did you guys feel about the site when you first got here? and what was your intention. For me, I thought it was primarily a dating site but then I found out that nobody on here wants a relationship except for guys and now it's just a "find friends to talk to site" Also were you guys disappointed with what you found?

The generalization of your statement of "...that nobody on here wants a relationship except for guys..." is false. Just because you can't find anyone, doesn't mean it's not happening. I found my girlfriend on here; going on 9 months on the 22nd... but hey, no girls are looking... Try being friends with a girl, build a foundation, then ask them out if you believe it might work. Don't just find some "cute girl" and ask her out knowing nothing about them...

oh thats not what I meant, it was a general statement. I dont flirt off the bat and friendship is always an important prerequisite for me. Judging from a few people Ive spoken to, the general consensus is that relationships aren't a main focus for a vast majority.

Most on here seem to have given up on finding a relationship thru this sight. Tbh I see why, most everyone who is interesting lives extreme distances away lol

i thought this site was gonna be something to pass the time until i became bored and decided to leave cause i get bored with things easily. but i have been here a year now and its been a pretty wild ride met a bunch of people, flirted with a bunch of people, dated a bunch of people. currently with my new gf who is legit like my dream girl....and also a closet pervert XD got a bunch of cool things from this site, i wasnt disappointed actually

Im really happy to hear that Seabears c: I wish you two the best and I hope my turn comes along soon haha. But yeah I really enjoy the new friends I made here. Mostly everyone is nice and welcoming and supportive.
