I am still unsure what that is. Like a texting app or something? I would rather type long unnecessary stuff rather than google it like a normal person.

LINE is sorta like WhatsApp, but has support over multiple platforms. Conveniently accessible for group chats and such!

So like skype-ish? Or not like skype at all? What's What'sApp? LOL I'm a guy that just got out of the flipphone era man.. I'm oldschool that was recently converted.

Well, Skype is supposedly voice and video-calling based, so LINE would be more along the lines of... Windows MSN, I suppose? It's a platform where you can chat to your contacts over an internet connection, whether privately or in a group. It also still has voice-calling and video chat, but on a one-to-one basis.
