...Marriage... >.<

I only get pressured by people outside of my inner bubble; People who are single or have the idea that "You shouldn't feel lonely, you're in a relationship" "Why need friends when you have a partner," or "Your man needs to have sex with you whenever YOU want it."... Mainly people with a loose idea of what a relationship should be. saddest part is that they are older than i am.. And even worse are the people who always say "woah! you've been together for almost 4 years! you should make him put a ring on it" Most of them try to justify it by stating how most people they know "got married within 5 months to a year of knowing someone." But Im a 19 year old College student.... You shouldn't be telling a 19 year old, KNOWING they are 19, to get married because "your relationship lasted so long".. Its awkward and a terrible thing to say (not to mention can lead to bad things if i was one of those "lovestruck, romance crazy" teens.).. And not to mention its my first relationship, another reason to not rush someone into it... Even my Mother doesn't believe i should as i only known him for 4 years. Her fiance ad my mom knew each other since primary school and dated for 5 years they JUST now (at 39) think its a good idea to get married. -w-; I get pressured in terms of romance anyways from outsiders to the point i really don't listen to those who don't know me well, unless asked.

Screw them. If people around you aren't being understanding and pressures you, simply ignore them, because why would one listen people that doesn't understand them. If you can't avoid them, then listen to what they have to say, but you don't have to accept their 'suggestions'. Show that you can live life just as good without needing to be married.
