[Serious] Genderfluid/Non-binary/Queers

elder_reaper
I was more referring to that there are generally understood in science two distinct sexes - and thus two distinct genders. There are crossovers in intersex - but most intersex people identify as one or the other, and of course trans people. I was saying that it makes no sense to do away with a gender binary for the express reason of some people who feel the need to be different for no justifiable reason. They don't have dysphoria, they don't have genetic disorders that cause intersex... they just up and decide to be queer. And yes, there is a difference between expression and 'gender'. One is totally fine, if I want to dress up as a girl thats my own damn business ( disclaimer, never actually done that ) but I shouldn't be going around saying I identify as queer and that everything needs to fit to my specific views regarding it - people are delusional.

@Elder_Reaper I can sympathize with: "anyone who dissents in their opinion is automatically a bad person". Academia in the western world has become neutered by political correctness and academic dishonesty to force feed political ideologies instead of educate free thinkers. I also tire of victim-culture and snowflakes but found it is easier to just let them be like the village idiot.

Why do you care? The only place such people are a problem is on tumblr and ig. And nobody forces you to deal with it. Just let them be and if you can't / don't want to respect their identity (by using they, he, she) then don't talk to them or about them at all instead of complaining about them behind their backs. They're all kids in the age range of 13 - 25 not grown adults in important positions. They won't harm our society and most likely will grow out of it. Darku, political correctness isn't part of the law so you can say whatever you want. I do that and only the few overly sensitive people who don't matter care about my choice of words. But note that insulting people or disregarding their identity has nothing to do with being "politically incorrect" but with being an asshole.

It doesn't matter to me what people claim gender/sex-wise. There are nearly unlimited variations. Though I still think there are a few who do it for attention or to seem special. I'm hetero-male for all practical considerations, I'm attracted sexually to feminine aspects and aroused by female pheromones. I do however have a mental feminine aspect, I would be a girl if I could (though not enough to bother with a surgical sex change) and I've had sexual fantasies of being a girl and fucked by guys. I like form fitting girls clothes better but don't usually wear any besides low rise boot cut girls jeans (makes my ass look nice, had girls tell me). http://nautil.us/issue/28/2050/caitlyn-jenner-and-our-cognitive-dissonance

Who's complaining behind their backs? Regardless, when these people have power, they start changing stuff - notice FB has 30 some gender options, made possible by a developer, Brielle Harrison who enables them, despite being non-binary herself. SMH I don't want these people to be enabled to disrupt society. With regards to you Vampire Neko, that doesn't sound unusual to me. Autogynephilia is what that is called.

Ugh, the amount of this garbage on Tumblr and Reddit... Goddamn I need eyebleach *clicks /r/Touhou_NSFW* Much better.

I dont care until they start to get pissy with me because I screw something up, if you look like a male, im going to call you a he, if you look like a female, im going to call you a she simple as that. Imo if you have a penis your a male, if you get a sex change your a female and vice versa. I'm not going to adapt to make you happy.

Well, frankly I don't see someone's "gender identity" as being relevant (as well as labels in general to a point). And I most definitely will not accommodate a persons gender identity. They need to learn that their label changes nothing in the grand scheme of things.
elder_reaper
I'm fine with people changing genders, as I said. What I don't like are those that try to go outside the reasonable boundaries set forth - you're not non-binary - you're either a guy or a girl with a lust for attention and controversy.

Imo if your born male you will always be a male and vis versa. Just because you've had a "sex change" doesn't mean you'll suddenly be able to give birth which not every woman is able to but no sex changed person can. That said I'll still call people whatever gender title, he/she etc they prefer if they politely ask me to.
