Gender change

I don't really know how to say it, I'm really insecure with who I am. Feels wrong that I'm not a female, that I'm afraid to express myself differently. With different type of clothing, how I look and so on. I feel much more comfortable in female clothing much more then male clothing. I'm really afraid of criticism etc T.T I'm in early therapy and I haven't really talked to people that have gone through sex reassignment surgery and hormone therapy etc. That's the reason why I'm even writing this at all, if there is somebody else that is insecure with their gender. Sorry if this is a lot of jibberish, but I don't know how to explain it T.T

I'm secure being a guy, but my advice to you if you want to have gender reassignment surgery is, the sooner the better. Also don't go to a really cheap Doctor. I've heard of people who have done it and we're happy and some who were not.

I'm not gender dysphoric but I know people who are. It seems to match up a lot with what you're saying. I do know as a person who suffers from clinical depression the best way to help reduce the stress is talking it out with a qualified psychologist who can help you better understand yourself. You're what is known as transgender - transsexual is for people who've made the switch and legally changed sex, depending upon whom you speak with that group may include only people who've undergone SRS ( sex reassignment surgery ) Once you have a solid diagnosis of dysphoria I believe you can obtain oestrogen and anti androgen hormones, these will change most secondary sex characteristics to match a female. I know Chizmad here has a girlfriend who's also a transgender woman - maybe Chizmad could provide some more insight. I know we have a few trans people on here besides you though. Best of luck. Everytime I read a trans person's story it makes me thankful I'm not suffering from dysphoria.

there r mostly just straight cis people on this site. i suggest that u check out the forum named "EMPTY CLOSETS", its an reallly good site for LGBT+ people, it has tons of trans people exactly in ur situation. thats the best thing i can say, i just reallly suggest that u check out that forum. goodluck
