My brother wanted one but he has a 300zx (z31) and my dad had a Celica Supra back in the day.
Cressida and Supra 7M motors are notorious for the gaskets. Can't wait to own and find out how bad it is.

Yeah Iron blocks with aluminum heads are always prone to warping slightly stressing/micro-leaking the gasket. The straight 6 is such a long block it heat soaks unevenly increasing this effect. The 2JZ is the same way but by then they optimized the shape, gasket, and bolt pattern to minimize it as much as they could. I heard there are shops now that machine 2JZ blocks and heads out of billet aluminum to prevent this as the whole thing expands consistently and soaks heat more evenly.

I used to work as a Toyota and ASE certified mechanic for about 6 years but went back to the IT tech sector in 2008 when the economy tanked. I am currently a network engineer for a telephone company and Internet provider specializing in building private global Internets for companies on top of our share of what people call the internet. By building parallel isolated private Internets along side the public one it allows companies to move sensitive data like medical records and credit card transactions from wherever to data centers more securely. Because of the hack-fests that are daily now our business is booming lol.

Right on man! My cousin was a marine welder and made mad money on and offshore. Welders in general don't do too bad. I took basic welding and thought about getting back into it. Fabrication is a nifty skill to have that opens doors everywhere in the world plus you can build whatever you want, very nifty.
