@inchris Although it has only 6 episodes, its really worth your time! I can assure you that. But if you're going to watch it please watch it in english dub :3

So you want to watch good anime around 1990s and up. Gantz is a very good 10/10 unless you can handle blood and gores. Cooking master boy 7/10 since is quite good and I like the food. Yakate Japan is bread lover but is funny give it 7/10. GTO is about delinquent teacher teaching problematic kids 9/10. City Hunter about taking job on mission the client request, should watch it 7/10. Hikaru No Go is a fun and interesting anime about GO game 8/10. Kyou Kara Ore Wa is about delinquent one fight dirty and the one fight as a man. This is very funny and the manga has over 300 chapters and anime only ova has 10 episodes 10/10. Elfen Lied more blood but not as gruesome as Gantz but is good 8/10.

Nope you never mentioned Gantz, you only mentioned Ghost in the Shell if you read what you post. Shiki - is about a town not a cities and this town had been curse that every day someone die. What happen to this town? Genre: vampire, suspense, blood. 6/10. Also did you read Inu Yashiki? It is the same Author as Gantz. It gets really interesting but now I have to wait for an update.
