Well for starters, how long have you 2 been together? If less than 6 months, I would say have a talk with her and maybe come up with a schedule on when you 2 can talk via Skype. If that doesn't work, I dunno.... "Plenty of fish in the sea"
Also, try taking to consideration that she's in high school or possibly college (& had the summer off, maybe) it's possible that she IS tired, depending on what she is like activities/sports etc.
I would find out first...

I'll say the same, if you can get a hold of her - try and set up a schedule for the both of you to talk on Skype because in all honesty, 8 hours of Skype every day is something that most people who are busy with school, college, uni, work, etc just won't have the time or chance to do. Try and get an hour a day or perhaps 2 hours every two days or something like that. If she can fit that around her schedule then it's all good.
If she's not up to it then chances are she's probably not "feeling it" anymore which can happen and if that's the case then, well... Just leave it at that and take it in stride.

Holy shit, 8 hours of skype every day!?
You have to realize she just started school; she probably goes to school for around 7 hours. That's 15 out of 24 hours already. So she has 9 hours to do whatever she wants in her personal time (and that is not including sleep).
You're asking a whole lot out of her, please give her some space.
I can barely skype with the guy I'm interested in once a week, and if we do, we only skype for like 2-4 hours. I can't imagine skyping 8 hours everyday, I need my personal space TYVM lol.

Oh many 8 hours a day would be crazy, I enjoy talking to my girl but damn. I know the feeling of not talking with your girl but you need to relax and take the time to find something to do on your own away from her. Aside from that 2 weeks is a pretty long time and like everyone else is saying, setting up a schedule to just have for you two would be the best, especially if you're a new couple where communication is key. I should probably take some of the advice and setup a schedule with my girl as well (same long distance scenario).

Yeah, classes can be a bitch, especially if this is her first year in college, taking a lot of credits, and adjusting to it. It's not the easiest thing.
My suggestion is talk to her and try to schedule Skype time that will fit in her schedule as mentioned above. Maybe a couple hours every other day or an afternoon/evening on weekends when she'd might have more free time. College has a tendency to spark many new friendships and other social interaction she might not have had in grade school, especially if she's doing some extra curricular stuff. It's just part of college life in general. Losing the time you had before sucks, but you also have to be understanding of her major change in her life and do your best to work around it.

As someone who started school as well, I can tell you that the amount of free time I had during the summer is dramatically different from the amount of free time that I have now. I don't even see my family for 8 hours a day and I live with them :p

Talking to one person for 8 hours? Thats a whole school day/work day. Even with ALL the free time in the world i have never talked to anyone person for 6hrs. Let Alone 8. If you want that kind of time gonna have to wait till a satuday or holiday. I just dont know what else to say.
