Ever run into someone you met online out in the world?

Didn't think you'd see them in person, next thing you know someone out of no where says your name or you make eye contact with them? How did that situation turn out for you? Did you end up talking to them or pretending like you didn't see them? Did they look like their profile picture?

I met some people I've played online at Evo 2014. Was fun. We roamed the desert at night searching for a place to eat but couldn't find anything so we ended up just buying chips and ginger ale at an AMPM next to the hotel.

Only when it's been prearranged that we'd meet. I'm not a camwhore nor do I adorn myself with anything that would draw attention to myself when away from the keyboard, so there's really no way that's gonna happen. The meetings were fine for the most part, aside from one in which we got lost because the other person was driving and relied on their phone's map to get us to our destination, but it's battery died. Spent hours driving around randomly asking people for directions.

Yeah, the trolls. They were pretty pathetic in real life too. They mocked me again in real life when I turned to them and said "Seriously? Get a life before judging someone else's" I did meet a guy for a date once from online, he was about as interesting as a sock.

Oh man, I met one of my best friends like this in highschool on sheer accident. We played halo 2 and PSO on Xbox live all the time. But he lived in Puerto Rico, he never he told me he moved to the US. And the craziest part is he moved about a block away from me and we went to the same highschool. Never thought I would have met him in real life and it still blows my mind.

This happened to me once. I was in a low point in my life and was a blood-donor (for money so that's not really a donation). That was awkward. Back in the myspace days lol - We started talking because her friend was a friend of mine and she wanted relationship advice with someone she didn't know. Turns out she liked me (I was naive) and wanted to bang. We never did though. I'm actually glad we didn't too. But yea we met like a year later donating blood.
