Meh, shows what I know. And even though the fake eclipse was epic and 'WTF!! AGAIN!!!!?!?' it just can't top volume 12 in my eyes. After the long and bittersweet golden age arc the first eclipse epically screamed the horror and loss that Guts was feeling. While bringing the supernatural weirdness, building and bubbling under the surface since the taste in volume one, immediately to light. I think it is the perfect segway for Guts' change to the black swordsman of volume one.

If anyone's read Historie by the creator Parasyte, another favorite manga moments of mine is the 3 chapter killing spree in the mid 20s chapters of that comic. Such well execution. I was actually gonna add a picture this time but I don't know how to. Lmao.

My favorite moment is when kasahara in library wars confronts the whole library staff in her home town and then the real bullies show up and kasahara scares the living day lights out them in vol. 12
