Speaking of Bill Gatus of Borg... Some of the development projects I am doing with Oculus Rift are intended for this device:
I would love to do a FF or Shining Force like RPG with the battlefield being on the table.

I agree with someone who mentioned the answer "Waifu." I would. But you know, this question reminds me of a book I remember reading awhile back. About to get serious for a serious answer in here.
It was a story about how society far into the future had a popular game of fighting Ais. The game was so advanced that people could actually interact with their own Ai, which was actually a real living being within the cyber world. Eventually, further into the future and with a larger growth of popularity of the game, the technology to create actual, physical bodies for these Ai became very popular. However, there was a dark side to all of this. Because the Ai were intelligent enough to be like that of a living human being they understood pain as well and as a result a great number of them were subjected to the same horrible things that normal human beings can often go through in the real world within their own cyber world. So the creation of physical bodies for them made this even more of a reality. This resulted in Ais to come together to fight for their own rights and, in turn, caused the humans to fight back with their own thoughts of what an Ai should or should not be allowed to have or do. They were not judged as a real human being and, therefore, had no say in whatever they were subjected to. If their owner wanted to be nice to them, then they could. If an owner wanted to be horrible to them and treat them as a slave, then they could. In the end, the Ai destroyed the humans with the help of the physical bodies that the humans granted and wiped them out.
So if the possibility of creating our own favorite 3d characters became a real possibility...I feel like something like this could end up taking us down that very same route. This is, though, every creator and creation story every told in a nutshell.
But yes...I'd still want to create my waifu.
