When You Finally Speak/See Another MaiOtaku

that's really cool, a VERY long time ago, i met someone on GaiaOnline, who lived almost 2000 miles from me after a year, we were living together in an apartment, and it was good for a while in the end it didn't work out, but it was like a fairy tale while it was happy

Yeeppp I've met a handful. There were a couple that lived near me so we met up at a local bakery. I met most of them at cons. I'm close to Otakon so I met a ton there. It also helped that Otakon is such a huge con, so even people that live really far up north bothered to come. Last year I was lucky enough to go to AX (Anime Expo in CA) and I got to meet the rest of my MO friends. I hung out with them all three days, and the fourth day we ditched AX and went to Disneyland. We took a bunch or pictures and it was great. In my experience, the friends I've made here were really welcoming. I would recommend to meet at a con if you're thinking of meeting another MO user.

I met a MO user nicknamed Pinoko from Japan who suddenly decided to visit me here in California... Then we end up going around the Bay Area (San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Cruz & Monterey). It was very romantic. Last Golden Week, we went to Hokkaido & I felt humbled by their culture. She ambushed me with a surprise birthday party at a ryokan!

Haven't met anyone from here, but I would love to one day, be it in person or over the phone! Heck, shoot me a message if y'all want my Skype. Would love to be friends with y'all!
