Irrational Childhood Fears

Spiders. Needles.

my fear is a list. tornado bugs the dark sometimes sharks crocodiles i used to be scared of needles but i dont mind then since i start to donate blood hmm thats all i can remember

Spiders, ventriloquist dummies and open closets when I was growing up thanks to my parents raising me on a steady diet of old horror/sci-fi movies.

Dolls.. any kind of doll to this day I dislike having dolls in my room while I sleep or anywhere mostly because chucky did this to me :L Oh spiders also.. if I saw one i'm just going to throw stuff at it

I think I have the weirdest one: worms. Completely harmless, blind, stupid worms. Truth be told they still skeeve me out at 30 years old, I'll still jump a little when I come across one while digging, and I wouldn't touch one even with gloves. But at least I don't run in abject terror like when I was a kid. This is why I never go fishing, and when I do I need to use lures or some non-worm bait. Yep. Turns out there's even a word for it: Vermiphobia. Just keep those wriggly little bastards away from me.
