Arsonist (A short poem)

Watching in awe, Buildings burning, Hearing the cries Of people yearning To retrieve the things, They once held dear, Oblivious to My ominous sneer. The Fire burns down; Finishing its reaping Of the poor souls that it Felt like sweeping, Into a bright, And fiery display, Departing and Letting the bodies decay. When the work is done, I return to my dwelling; Plotting and planning The future. Foretelling The fate of those, That deserve the most, To fall victim to a woman With vengeance morose ----------------------------- Well how was it?

A good poem I liked it, though I think some more poet synergy would be nice like comparing the flames to something like a personality trait. Still a very good poem :)
