Are woman better at dealing with loneliness?

sure becuase they don't really know what it is or have to deal with it. loneliness to a girl is going a few weeks without a date.

Interesting points from everybody. Gender equality has yet to permeate every facet of society. This is especially prevalent in romance and courtship where the onus still is on the male to be the sole initiator. In many cases woman who choose to initiate relationships are called sexually promiscuous or worse derogatory terms. People do this possibly to dissuade woman from functioning outside the traditional norms of courtship.

Here's the deal, it's no easier for women than men. If women are more likely to get dates, men are more likely to date. It's just an odds game after all of that. I think some seem to just like the idea of self pity, that's applies to both genders.
