Dating a witch

This might go hand in hand with dating of other religions. But Truthfully, so people hate magic, be it wiccian, voodoo, or natural earth magic. Would you date someone who used magic? Would it matter if they only used magic to protect and help others? (like purifications and lifting curses, etc) Would you freak if they had books on it?

I think some people aren't thinking clearly. A belief often times becomes a core thing and to be with another who doesn't match up, often times causes friction. It's easy to say yes, but to go through with it until fruition is another thing all together. It's one of those "sounds good on paper" things. A belief and faith are strong things that often times take precidence.

Am Catholic. Dated a witch. Didn't find out until a month in the relationship. Dated for 6 years. 10/10 would date again. And yes, as yaasshat said, there was friction at times. The trick is to respect the other person and their beliefs, even if they are not in line with yours.

I don't really see a problem with it. If that's what they want to do. Long as they're not hurting anybody. I think I got a book on Wiccans somewhere around here.

Yes. Witches and people of that nature seem like really interesting people. Hell, I'd even want to help out on some of their rituals if I had the chance.

It sounds interesting. I don't know; I wouldn't want her hexing me in my sleep or coming home and seeing her reciting something on the floor in a chalked-out circle. I probably couldn't do it if she was that kind of invested. I think it sounds like a cool niche interest that I'd like as well, especially since Alchemy and those kinds of things are very enigmatic parts of history. I wouldn't date a Satanist though.
