So, Anyone Looking Forward To Doom?

After hearing the reveal that will be taking place in E3 this year (Probably the only thing worth a damn so far imo) and seeing how they did a complete retooling of the game after the original 2012 trailer (recently leaked) which left a horrific taste in my mouth - I've been excited for the next Doom, being a huge, die-hard fan of the franchise (Yes even Doom 3) since childhood I just hope it turns out to be brilliant! But I won't let myself get too excited because it could turn out awful. What do you think?

I consider Doom to be one of the best FPS games ever made. I still play it today and it's 22 years old; that's how well the game has aged. I've had my Doom beta key ready since Wolfenstein: The new Order was released, I'm more than ready to got hold of this game. I just hope it's good, ID software haven't had the best track record with games recently.

Omg. .. doom was life when I was 6 or 7... been playing it since I had my first pebtium 2 with 16 mb vga I think xD Sup guys!!!

@Voli - Doom is still life man, still playing 1, 2 and 3 even to this day - they're that good! If you have a beefed up rig, you should play the Doom 3 Absolute HD mod. Now that's a bloody good HD mod! @Panda - Absolutely, Doom is literally the first game I played and I'll go as far as to call Doom 1 and 2 perfect (I loved 3 to death but it does have issues, thankfully mods can fix that!) Let's keep our fingers crossed that the next one doesn't suck!
