How did other pronounce Otaku words?

I don't know if I phrased that right. I just know in every group there are people on the outside of the group whom try to say the words and get them so wrong that it's not even funny or it's hysterical. Example, I got a shirt that says "It's an Otaku Thing, you wouldn't understand". And people tried to pronounce One said what is "Oo-da-ka?" another said "Ta- ker?" and other called it origami. There was many more I can't even remember it all, but. why not share the strangeness of mispronounce stuff.

People say "Killing two birds with one stone." I say "Killing two stones with one bird." I end up mixing it once and now I use that instead, because who the fuck wants to throw a boring rock at a bird when throwing a bird is much more fun, and easier to hit a non-moving rock.

lol, Ichirai that is funny as hades! I would be more scared of the person trying to kill stones with a bird than a person with a stone. I mean seriously throwing birds? As for saying weird things I fused two phrases together when I was little and told everyone "Go suck a brick!" Apparently the two I fused was "go suck an egg" and "go f... a brick". I like mine however. I was writing a story and One of the characters name was Nuku (New and Ku), somehow they called her neck-ko, nunchuck, U -ko, or what the hell is that? SO much that I came up with a saying for it. "her name is Nuku, it starts with New and ends with Could you be anymore more stupid?" I do know I mispronounced Neko in the past. it is pronounced Neck-Ko. I would pronounce it Knee-Ko.

@Ichirai That's assuming the bird doesn't move when you try to throw it, right? Are we talking about a dead bird here? Cus I'm pretty sure any other bird would dodge the rock and fly away... I've come to the conclusion that everyone always has a different way of pronouncing things. Manga (men-ga) is actually supposed to be pronounced mun-ga if you go by how it's said in japanese. I've decided that when I speak english, I'm forever going to call it 'men-ga', but when I speak japanese, it'll go back to 'mun-ga'. It's basically an english word now, anyways. I feel the same way about 'yandere', 'kuudere', 'tsundere'. I know it's supposed to be pronounced 'de-re' and not 'dare', but I've gotten enough blank looks to just accept the wrong pronounciation as a new english word and just go with it.

There was a point I used to pronounce it "tsunder" or "yander", but I've gotten off of that... I have no problem pronouncing japanese, the only problem I got is using sentences, which I still can't get, although I still have to use english everyday, so I still rely on it too much to learn japanese well enough. I also notice that my english sometimes lacks a bit as well, although I expected as much, since I get so tired of english sometimes, that's when I use japanese, but so far it just sounds the same every time 'cause my vocabulary ain't large enough... めんどくさい(mendokusai)... Also, I see even some otakus have trouble pronouncing "Chuunibyou", I find it easy. Chuuni as in Chuunin rank from Naruto, then biyo-u.

Well in the proper japanese pronunciation it's Tsu-n-de-re(Sun-deh-reh) and Ya-n-de-re(Yawn-deh-reh). I think I did it the incorrect way because I was tired and my mouth was lazy...
