I came upon this website to search for an female friend with the same interest in my area and 1 day later i already forgot about my girlfriend search mission and now i just want to talk to people about anime and stuff. I'm glad i came upon this website ^^

I think thats how it is with most people who come to the site i don't consider it a dating site much because i only use it to have fun with people

Yea, I also see this more as an meet up site instead of an real dating site but for some reason i like it more when it's not an dating site

The same thing more or less happened to me, I mean yeah I'm still trying to find a potential partner. But I'm mostly here for finding new friends. Lol.

I found my partner in the most unlikely place, an IRC channel where I had little to no interest, but I found a loyal, beautiful and intelligent person there who is now happily my partner, my friend, my lover.

Lots of people look for girlfriends (or boyfriends) online which is not itself a bad idea, but you can't holistically know someone until you spend time getting to know someone in person. Unless neither of you have any interest in a physically intimate relationship, then you can only consider the likely potentiality of a relationship from talking online or on the phone. However, so much physical expression and intimacy as well as physical sexual desire, pheromones and other things can only be determined by significant physical contact.
